I think too much about LOST

So OK … here’s my big thing with this whole episode … (SPOILERS/Fanboy writing abounds …)

You’re going to steal the sub? With Kate? Really, Sawyer?! That’s your endgame?

And Smocke is what … going to back up an Air Ajira 747 on a beach, turn it around, take off (with little to no gas) and fly off into the sunset?

Come on writers … really?

I refuse to believe that. So I’m going to assume Sawyer and Smocke are full of shit. They both have ulterior motives. And if we accept Smocke as the bad demon figure (and I still don’t) his endgame is probably to kill everyone on the Island off. I mean, really … what’s he going to do off island? Chillax in Akumal and sip martinis? Take a 9-5 at the Stop N’ Gas? Open up a portal to the demonic underworld and become the newest harbinger of death?

That’s trite bullshit writing, and LOST better not go there.

Unless they make a Smocke N’Gas spinoff. A gas station sitcom. “DON’T TELL ME WHAT I CAN’T DEGREASE!” I’m SO there, man.

Speaking of Sawyer … I’ve been thinking about what Juliet meant when she said “It worked” before she croaked …

OK crazy theory #435,434: I think Juliet somehow (perhaps out of proximity to the nuke) was able to jump between island world and sideways world, yet remain conscious of the jump. It’s what Jack is on the cusp of doing (remember him asking about the tummy scar and looking at his cut neck) … but Jack can’t do it yet.

What about when he can?

Could Jack possibly unite the two worlds? Perhaps act as a gatekeeper between them? Is that what Jacob does/did? Could the writers be setting up a judgement scenario where Jack offers the characters a choice … stay on the Island and suffer … or leave the island and prosper?

It’s this choice … a choice that would conceivably give Sayid a shot at Nadia and reunite Sawyer with Juliet … that could entice some characters to turn against old Smokey …

So maybe that’s the endgame the writers have in mind. These plotlines have to fold in on themselves at some point.

Just please LOST writers … for the love of the gods … don’t have are heroes dramatically leave the island on the sub/plane while the island is going nuclear or some shit … I would destroy my TV.

Oh! And one last thing … if Sawyer is a VICE COP in the alternate timeline, why did he let KATE go when he saw her on the elevator? Did he not recognize her? (Likely) But what if he did …

Charlotte and Sawyer made me hurl.

RICHARD NEXT WEEK!! AIEEEEEE!
